Walking through the doors of a church you’ve never attended can be an intimidating experience. You probably have questions – we’ll answer them right here, so you know what to expect when you visit us on Sunday morning.
Our Sunday services are traditional, liturgical style – meaning we follow a similar pattern of worship every Sunday. But don’t worry! You don’t have to memorize anything. You’ll receive a worship folder that includes a detailed order of service, in addition to announcements and updates for the week.

During the worship service, Pastor Buege will deliver a 15-20 minute sermon. His message is always based on God’s Word in the Bible, and also relevant and applicable to our lives today.
We consider ourselves Confessional Lutherans – meaning, we accept the doctrines taught in the Book of Concord of 1580. We accept these in their entirety because they are completely faithful to the teachings of the Bible.
Being clear and standing firm in our beliefs is of utmost importance to us. Learn more about our beliefs, here.
Length of Service:
Our worship service generally lasts about an hour. After service, we enjoy a short time of fellowship before Bible Study for the adults and Sunday School for the children.
Come as you are – we aren’t worried about what you’re wearing. You’ll see some people dressed in jeans and others slightly more formal.
We love having children at our worship service! Each service includes a children’s sermon, where children ages 3 and up can come to the front of the church for a short devotion with Pastor Buege.
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN. So do we! To make worship easier for them (and their parents!), we offer these options:
- Activity bags for children are available in the entryway. These bags have activities to occupy children during the service. Please return them on your way out.
- A quiet nursery. It’s for children ages 0-4. You can find our nursery down the hallway to the left, near the bathrooms. You are welcome to take your little one there for part or all of the service.
