About Us
What you'll learn at Victory of the Lamb
God's Word - the Bible - is our source of truth. It's what we learn from, grow in, and base all other beliefs upon.
We believe there is only one true God who is holy, eternal, and has all power and wisdom. In the Bible, God reveals himself as Triune - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is God's Word. It's true and without error.
We believe that in six days, God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
We believe that men and women are a special creation of God, created in God's own image.
We believe that we lost the image of God when Adam + Eve gave into the temptation of Satan in the Garden of Eden. This separated us from God, unable to reconcile ourselves to him.
We believe that the gospel is the good news that a loving God sent Jesus Christ to take away the sins of all people, fully and freely given.
We believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, and that he suffered and died on the cross to pay for all of our sins.
We believe Jesus rose on Easter morning, conquering death. And because he rose, so will we.
We believe that the Holy Spirit creates faith in our hearts through the gospel.
We believe that there is one holy, Christian church, made up of all who believe in Jesus.
We believe we become God's children through baptism. We believe God's love and forgiveness is ours in the Lord's supper.
We believe Jesus is ruling all things for the good of his people. And that we have peace because of what Jesus did for us.
Meet Our Team
Pastor
Nathan Buege
Pastor Nathan Buege has been serving Victory of the Lamb Lutheran Church and the Katy community since graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2002. His passion is teaching the simple, straightforward Bible message of God’s love with all people.
He has been married since 1998 to his lovely bride Amy, and God has blessed them with four children Abigail (married to Ben), Ethan, Marissa and Daniel. The Buege’s greatly enjoy time at any beach, as well as camping and hiking in the mountains.

jenni rannow
Jenni Rannow has been in the education field for over 28 years in a variety of settings. She has her associate degree in Early Childhood Education, with certificates in Administration and Special Needs, from Central Piedmont Community College. Jenni also holds a Ministry Certification and Mentoring and Coaching certificate from Martin Luther College.
