Getting Ready for Jesus, Our Wonderful Counselor!

The calendar has almost turned to December, and that means we are thinking about Christmas preparations.

Let’s get ready for Jesus!  This four-part message series will be based on one Bible verse – Isaiah 9:6.  That verse describes Jesus as our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Today’s message will talk about that first name of Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor.

PRAYER:  Dear Jesus, you know all things, and that alone gives you the ability to be a wonderful counselor.  What’s more, you care deeply about my well-being, and you are willing to do and say whatever it takes for me to happy with you long-term in heaven.  Thank you for giving your life so that I could have life.  Thank you for giving me your Word so that I could learn about your love for me.  Give me joy and focus as I desire to never stop growing in your truth, and quell the lies of temptation that are all around me.  Thank you, dear Jesus, for being my Wonderful Counselor!  Amen.
