And here is a prayer for today: Gracious Savior, fix my eyes only on you.  It was your joy to endure the cross for my sake.  It was your mission to destroy the work of the devil.  You are not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters.  Help us to never be ashamed of your Word!  In every trial and tribulation, let me always see you, Jesus.  You are the strength of my heart, the joy of my life, and the hope of my salvation.  Those who trust in you are never put to shame.  It’s in your holy name that I pray, Amen.
