Does that seem odd? At first it may seem pretty unusual – especially this year as Ash Wednesday and Valentines Day fall on the same day. Ash Wednesday is about repentance and solemn mourning over your sin and Valentines Day is about joy, love and togetherness.
It might not seem like the best combination at first…but iwhen you understand what Ash Wednesday is all about, t’s actually the PERFECT combination. Today’s devotion will tell you why!
We’ll be looking at Joel 2:12-13. God bless your time with the Lord and we hope you enjoy this message!

PRAYER: Gracious God, you know my sin better than I do. You also were willing to pay for it in full. Send your truth straight to my soul, and help me to rejoice anew in your abundant mercy. It will always be true – though my sin is great, your mercy is more. It’s in your holy, precious, saving name that I pray, Amen.
