He’s got your back! He handles the tough talk! He resolves each and every eternal issue, all by himself! The mediator who steps in between sinners and a holy God is Jesus Christ. What a magnificent mediator he is!

Gracious God, I thank you for having forgiven my sins and comforting me with this promise: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Thank you for being my magnificent mediator before God, who knows all things and judges all people. Strengthen my faith that you have shed your own precious blood to wash away all my sins. Keep me focused on your mediating, forgiving truth when Satan, the ancient liar, accuses me of sin. Thank you for hearing my prayers, and for making me acceptable for all eternity. It’s in your name I pray, Amen.
