Our “Old Testament Gem” for today is from Nahum 1:7-8. The prophet Nahum was different because the message he gave was not to believers, it was directed towards unbelievers from the nation, Assyria. His message to wicked Assyria, that they would soon be destroyed because of their unrepentance, brought comfort to the people of God. Their destruction meant Israel’s deliverance!
Let’s look at this message and rejoice because when all other ground is sinking sand…the Lord is always the solid rock on which we stand!
