Righteous Relief from My Distress

Overwhelmed…staggering…frustrated…tired.  We know exactly what that feels like.  We know what it’s like to be desperate for relief. 

God alone brings real, lasting, righteous relief.  “Righteous” means, “perfect.”  He never makes a mistake!  God alone leads us to a long-term benefit as we listen to him, and trust what he tells us.

Heavenly Father, give me your righteous relief!  Bring it in your timing, and in your way.  Remind me that your thoughts are not my thoughts, and your ways are higher than my ways.  Also encourage me that your love for me is higher than the heavens are above the earth.  I trust you, Lord, to bring me righteous relief, at just the right time.  It’s in your holy name that I pray, Amen.
