We have wrapped up our 25th anniversary celebration. As we get into November, we’d like to start a series about things we can be thankful for!
We’ll kick off this series with something that you might not be thankful for at first. Why would anyone be thankful for being taunted, ridiculed, persecuted, and pressured to separate yourself from Jesus? If and when that happens to you, it is actually something you can be thankful for…really…and we’re going to talk about why.
Join us as we look at Acts 5:41. We hope you enjoy this message! God bless your week!

PRAYER: Almighty Lord Jesus, just as the world once considered you worthy of abuse and violence, so also many who follow you are treated the same today. Be with those who are actively persecuted for their faith. Show them that in you, they have a companion who has experienced unjust pain and suffering; they have a companion who has triumphed over every evil; and they have a companion who now shares that victory with them – even during times of trial and weakness. Lead us to be thankful when persecuted, as the pressure draws us closer to your Word. I ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son and my Savior, alone. Amen.
