During the last hours of Jesus’ life he was betrayed by Judas, surrounded by enemies, abandoned by his disciples, thrown under the bus by Pontius Pilate, flogged by the soldiers, and then crucified…and yet the Lord sustained Jesus Christ through it all.
Has God changed? He hasn’t. As he sustained his Son, he will also sustain you. Think about that today as we look at Psalms 3:1-6.

God bless us during this time of Lent as we follow Jesus to his cross and our crown!
Prayer: Lord God, Heavenly Father, give me resilient peace as I trust in you to sustain me through all things, now and into eternity. Thank you for your never-ending love, which is higher than the heavens are above the earth. Give me courage that only you can provide, that I not be afraid even though tens of thousands assail me on every side. It’s in your holy, precious name that I pray, Amen.
