The Victor’s Crown

Which would you rather have…money and pleasure, or peace and endurance?

A common human desire across centuries is to have more money and pleasure. We believe that if we have it we’d have more peace and endurance.

Unfortunately, the opposite is actually true. The Bible teaches that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.

Over the last few weeks we’ve been sharing the confirmation verses our students chose to hold close to their heart for their whole life. This weeks verse is chosen by William Miller, Revelation 2:10b.

We hope you enjoy this message!

Prayer: Lord, we ask that you give us contentment in this life. Help us to find satisfaction in the truth that we are rich in your love and forgiveness. Help us to prioritize the truth of your word over our own sinful desires. As we walk our lives of faith, give to us the peace and endurance that only you can give as we look forward to receiving the victor’s crown which Christ has won for us. Amen.
