Everyone loves a “rags to riches” story, don’t they? It’s the kind of story that inspires, motivates, and makes people believe anything is possible.
But what about a story that’s probably more relatable, “riches to rags”? That’s the kind of story when everything seems great but then something happens that changes things for the worst. You lose your job, a relationship becomes broken or goes through a rough patch, unexpected expenses come up and it becomes hard to make ends meet.

Prayer
O Savior, precious Savior, you alone are the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through you. Give me courage to trust in you and your Easter victory with all my heart, whether it is a time of rags-to-riches, or a time of riches-to-rags. All of those things are temporary cycles, even though your Easter victory is eternal! It’s in your holy, precious, victorious name that I pray, Amen.
