Easter People Trust Their Good Shepherd

Easter People = Sheep.  More specifically, Easter people = sheep that trust their Good Shepherd!

Why is that essential?  Sheep don’t have smarts, speed, camouflage, or fangs.  The only thing they can do is flock together and that’s only beneficial if they are sheep with a Good Shepherd.  Our Good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep…willingly!

Listen to these verses from John 10 and rejoice in all the reasons why we trust in our Good Shepherd.

Prayer: O Good Shepherd, you shelter me from the storms.  You know me so well.  You provide for my needs.  You aren’t afraid to take on a vicious enemy to my soul and shout, “You’re going to have to go through the Good Shepherd to get to my sheep!”  Your protection and care is perfect!  Fill me with joy and satisfaction, because we are Easter people who have a Good Shepherd!  It’s in your holy, precious, victorious name that I pray, Amen.
