Give us a heart that trusts you boldly, especially when your timing leads us into something that is unpleasant. Assure us that what you want is simply this: that as many as possible come to faith in your saving name, and you are willing to allow difficulty and tragedy in order to help some people to listen to you. Bolster me in your truth, that I cling with hope to the knowledge that any suffering is only for a time, but my home in heaven lasts forever. I want what you want, Lord! Use me to bring your saving Word to many, one person at a time, and to live a life of faithful love until you call me home. It’s in your holy name that I pray, Amen. Amen.
