Living = Christ; Dying = Gain

If either cancer or COVID-19 had a fatality rate of zero percent, would anyone be scared of it? Probably not.

People have a natural fear of death. We don’t like it and don’t think about our death very much because it’s not very pleasant.

But Christ alone offers life after death. That changes the way we look at our life and death!

Listen to today’s devotion as we learn about a content heart from Paul in Philippians 1:21-25.

Today’s Prayer:

Dear Lord,

We know that you work in all things. As we live our lives, we will have troubles, pains, and sorrow.  Direct our lives to live for Christ even though we may face troubles around us every day. Be with us and strengthen us with your righteous right hand. You also let us know that to die is for our gain. Comfort us in that fact, Lord. That even though we may die, we have something far more glorious. Something that is far more joyous—Our home in heaven. So, direct and comfort us as we continue on with our lives.

In your name, now and always

Amen.
