The Word of the LORD Is Flawless!

Are you distressed because of something that has come out of a boastful human mouth…as well as because of what other boastful human beings have replied back?  Are you wishing there would be general improvement in the ability to listen?  Don’t you wish people could just speak the truth in love?  

For relief, DON’T keep gathering details about what sinful humans keep saying.  Instead, DO keep gathering details about what the flawless Word of God has to say!

Heavenly Father, give me joy throughout the day as I find comfort in your Word alone!  Give me relief as I lay my weary head on my pillow at night, trusting in your protection.  Your Word is flawless!  It will be my shield!  And it is the only possession I have that matters.  Thank you, Lord, for the gift of your Word.  I love learning more and more about the unfathomable depth, height and length of your love for me in Christ Jesus my Lord.  It is in his holy name that I pray, Amen.
